KOD is my diploma project for HASGD under the supervision of Boris Trofimov and Boris Bernaskoni in 2012. KOD book is about the ideology, aesthetics and projects of BERNASKONI bureau. Each object or buiding is encoded into the symbol-icon that reflects the meaning of a project. It's an attempt to answer the question what qualities define modern architecture? How is it different from construction? Book design is based on the principle of "necessary and sufficient": the text like a space, graphic design like a space, the book loke a space.
